I'm sure most have seen a common trend lately with many of your favorite RSS feeds now including ads either embedded as HTML, or entire RSS items showing as an ad. My favorite from Slashdot started embedding ads into their articles in their feed, which was the first time I've had ads show up in my reader.

So here it is, ala Firefox's Adblock extension for inspiration, I've created an RSS Adblock "proxy" written in PHP that will accept filters in regular expression format and will apply them to feeds as you or your reader requests them.
